Our founder

John Wireman, who passed away in 2019, was a highly accomplished individual who obtained his bachelor's degree in Psychology and Chemistry from Cal State Fullerton, and later went on to attain a doctorate in Microbiology and Biochemistry from the University of Illinois in Champagne-Urbana in 1973. With more than 44 years of experience in microbiology, he had authored numerous scientific papers and articles, which can be requested by interested parties.

After his tenure as a microbiology professor at Wayne State University, Wireman established Biological Research Solutions, Inc. (BRS) in 1986 with the goal of conducting microbiological product development research. BRS is currently a contract testing laboratory, committed to providing the most up-to-date testing methods and information to assist its customers in resolving problems.

Wireman was passionate about applying his extensive knowledge of microbiology to the food and pharmaceutical sectors, and he and BRS were dedicated to providing customized and specialized customer service to all clients.
